ALM Reconciliation Lead

ALM RECONCILIATION MANAGER- LONDON

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in London as a ALM Reconciliation Manager.

The role holder will be required to:

- Lead the project to re-engineer the BS reconciliation between the FDSF Actuals and external financial reporting (QRM to Saracen) for UK Ops
- Produce detailed reconciliation FDSF to QRM to FTP to Saracen
- Ensure that all interest rate risk that needs to be reported in FDSF is correctly reflected, through identification of reconciling items that need to be included in the QRM source data
- Migrate the resulting quarterly reconciliation to a dedicated offshore reconciliation team as a BAU activity

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL

- Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills
- Experience of project status reporting, and the analysis and management of project risks & issues
- CIMA or ACCA
- Strong reconciliation experience, financial reporting and controls
- In-depth understanding of FDSF and FINREP reporting requirements, systems and processes.
- Familiarity with the systems, processes and operating models that underpin banking finance, risk, ALCM, or interest rate risk reporting, including QRM, Saracen, FTP, CODA, as well as Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
- Proven project management skills
- Financial service industry experience
