Algorithm Engineer - DSP/Embedded C/Embedded C++

Position: Software Algorithm

Location:Cambridge

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

This challenging role is a tremendous opportunity to further develop your potential, while becoming a key player in the team and sharpening your skills. The role includes developing and optimising DSP algorithms in applications such as Audio and video codecs. My client provide a high level of support within your professional development and allow you to influence projects from conception to completion.

From day one you shall contribute to My clients core activities. This role shall have a long term impact on future processor architecture to include its performance characteristics and instruction set which in turn will make you an integral member of the team.

Essential Requirements

* Strong Mathematical expertise

* Experience with assembler development

* Experience with C\C++ development

* Excellent communication and team work skills

* Technical exposure in the following is beneficial: DSL, 3G, LTE, VoIP etc.

Desirable Requirements

* Previous experience of algorithm development and optimisations

* Previous experience with embedded systems

* Signal processing knowledge/experience

* Excellent software engineering skills
