Algo Trading Java Developer (Ultra Low Latency)

My client is a tier one investment bank looking for a senior Java developer to work within equity derivatives working across Low-latency Smart routing, Algo engines, Market data, messaging engines, etc.

The implementation will involve using Java, multithreaded systems, garbage collector, and low latency so the right candidate will have a depth of experience using all of these skills.

Key skills:
Minimum 7 years Core Java
Minimum 7 years working with Multi Threaded environments
Minimum 5 years database (preference on Sybase)
Minumum 5 Years Ultra Low Latency
Experience with the full project life cycle
C++ experience is an advantage

The right candidate should have demonstrable experience of Front Office system design and architecture, or familiarity with problems and solutions of high throughput low-latency Real Time systems ideally within the finance industry.

You should have proven track record delivering complex IT programs within banking preferably within a globally distributed team.
