We are looking for an AIX/UNIX architect/Engineer for our client in located in Ghent
Start: ASAP
Duration: 5 months +
Location: Ghent
Languages: Fluent in English, both writing and speaking
The following skills are required:
- AIX expert ( excellent knowledge of AIX, pSeries hardware, virtualization, VIOs, PowerHA)
- Linux expert (excellent knowledge of Linux and VMware)
- Good skill in communication and documentation is mandatory
- Advanced experience in Scripting languages: Kornshell, Perl,
- Combination of linux and AIX knowledge is a plus
Soft skills:
- Client oriented
- Ability to assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritize activities
- Good teaming
- Resistance to operational pressure
- Ability to work with other teams that can be based in another location Participation oncall 24/7 required
