AIX Designer

My client a leading Energy provider in the UK currently has an urgent requirement for an AIX Designer. The successful candidate shall be required to design a solution for the implementation of a new AIX system to support current and future solutions.

Mandatory Technical Skills Required
They require extensive and demonstrable experience of designing, configuring and implementing AIX solutions You shall be familiar with Power Server 770 and experience or exposure to virtualisation and storage solutions.

An understanding of LAN/WAN Technologies and Data Centre environment management is also a nice to have. Also an understanding of administration/management of AIX platforms and Oracle application support on AIX platforms is highly desirable. Demonstrable experience of producing clear architectural artefacts for Physical Design including both written and diagrammatical documentation is required.
