Airwave/Tetra Technician

Airwave, Tetra, Mobile Technician, Support Technician, Mobile Communications Support, MTP850, Mobile Radio Communications, Contract, Sussex, paying between £300 to £350 per day

I am working for a leading Service Provider, who is looking for a Support Technician who is familiar with all aspects of digital radio technologies including principles, coverage, carriers, frequencies, interference, testing, national standards and configuration.

What I am looking for is someone to join my client on a 6 month Contract, who has experience of Airwave/Tetra, MTP850, and Mobile Radio Communications, and who is experienced in the Installation, testing and commissioning of supplier specific equipment and software in legitimate operational environments.

You will have experience of desktop hardware, software and systems that integrate with radio technologies including the configuration and management of these systems, Windows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2 & Windows XP/7/8/10, Linux, Oracle and TCP/IP.

You will be Security Cleared to SC level, and ideally to Enhanced Level, and will have to go through DBS clearance too, (therefore applications from those who have not resided in the UK for over 5 years [post May 2010] will not be considered).
