I am looking to hire a Aircrew Escape and Survival Operations Coordinator for our Defence sector client

ROLEthe restraint harnesses which they use to strap into in the cockpit or cabin; the emergency escape parachutes they use for emergency egress; and the liferafts and survival aids they need to survive and escape on the ground or water.
- The ROCS Branch is responsible for Requirements Management and Delivery of new equipment projects including Programme Management of Urgent Operational Requirements (UOR) for HQ Air, JHC and Navy Command. ROCS is the AES TLCM focal point for Capability Theatre Airspace (Cap(TA), the Aircrew Systems Sponsor and is also responsible for co-ordinating all Business Agreements with FLCs and Fast Jet, Multi Eng and Rotary Platform Teams. This Branch is also responsible for the development of SLAs between AES and other Agencies with DLOD responsibilities such as RAFCAM, Medical GS and DSTO SERE.
- In-Service Platforms Programme (AVP-ISP) supports the bulk of the in-service armoured vehicles operated by the Army and tracked vehicles operated by the Royal Marines. The Programme manages the industrial supply chain and project manages the modification and enhancement of platforms currently in service. The TITAN and TROJAN (T2) vehicles provide heavy armoured bridging and route clearance capability to the Army and are operated by the Royal Engineers. Managing a dedicated team of three C1 team members, the T2 Output Cell Manager will deliver platform output within TCP as mandated by the user (HQ Army) and project assumptions .
- Enduring responsibilities incorporate; safety management, including legislative compliance. (Safety Case); financial management, including responsibility for S9 and P9 funding lines, and providing sign off for IA/BCs and invoices; risk management and stakeholder management.

Specific responsibilities during time in post will be to:

- Manage the delivery of ongoing initiatives to address availability and spares provisioning issues across the fleet.
- Progress the Post Design Services (PDS) tasks required to address equipment performance issues against the required levels.
- Manage the Economical Base Repair (EBR) programme for the heavy fleet.
- Manage the T2 and heavy hull scanning programme.
- Deliver all mandated safety modifications within stipulated timescale.
- Provide routine performance and progress reports to the ISP Programme Leader.
- Perform line management duties, including coaching staff to maintain a safeaddress availability and spares provisioning issues; progress PDS tasks; manage the EBR and hull scanning programmes; deliver mandated safety modifactions within timescale.
