Aircraft Safety Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Training Aircraft Safety Manager contract to work in Bristol.

This is a contract role paying £400 per day Ltd and is 5 month contract.

Skills/Experience:

Essential:
*Aircraft engineering experience.
*Good understanding of air safety and aircraft airworthiness requirements. Experience of safety assessments (safety cases) and managing hazard logs.
*Relevant qualification in aeronautical based engineering.

Desirable:
*Good knowledge of both military and civil air regulations.
*Previous military air engineering experience.
*Good working knowledge of eCassandra, Adelard (ASCE) and MS Access.
*Previous work in DE&S air sector project team.

Core Responsibilities:
*Maintenance of the hazard logs for relevant platforms in eCassandra.
*Maintenance of the safety assessments for relevant platforms hosted in Adelard.
*Maintenance of the RTS audit trail using ADCT (Access database).
*Provide routine inputs to 'Assert' for the relevant platforms.
*Producing or reviewing safety assess for platform configuration changes and RTS recommendations
*Support development of embryonic safety assessments for the FFW platforms.
*Team lead for safety, environment and quality issues.

*AN SC CLEARANCE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE*(If you don't have this you must be prepared to undergo one)
