ANTWERP, BELGIUM
12 MONTH (EXTENDABLE) CONTRACT

THE COMPANY
ConSol Partners' client is a leading technology company in smart energy that operates in all ancillary services and capacity markets in UK, France, Benelux and Germany. Our client is exponentially growing scale-up company with their own proprietary platform that is used by more than 150 largest industrial energy clients' throughout Europe. At the moment they are looking for 3 Agile Testers to join their team in Belgium and be part of a great team environment for a Winner of the Ecosummit Awards in last year.
THE ROLE
As an Agile Tester for ConSol Partner's client, you will be responsible for:
- Working as a part of a scrum team to validate the quality of delivered stories through description and execution of test plans; focus on test automation
- Working towards increasing test automation and reducing manual work while securing the reliability of platform
- Guarding non-regression through UI-test automation by writing and maintaining automated business focussed test
- Collaborating with other testers across scrum teams to ensure characteristics are assessed
THE INDIVIDUAL
- MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge of testing workflows in microservice architecture
- Experience working in continuous delivery/deployment environment
- Capability of reading and understanding source code written in languages such as Java, Scala, Python and Bash
- Good knowledge of writing integration tests in Cucumber Java (or Scala)
- Knowledge of Java, Scala, Python, Cassandra, Kafka, is a plus
The successful candidate must have great communication skills (fluency in English) as well as be passionate about testing and showing energy and drive. The client offer flexible working hours (must be based in Belgium though).
