Agile Project Manager Role - Welwyn GC - £65,000

I am currently recruiting for a prestigious client based in Welwyn Garden City.

They are looking for a Technical Project Manager who is a great communicator and can work with customers to define and drive projects forward.

The successful candidate will possess a skill set comprising of the following abilities:

* Coach, mentor, motivate and manage team members.

* Direct and manage test case development, sample code development and test execution from beginning to end, utilising agile methodologies such as Scrum.

* Work closely with the various network architecture groups, software/hardware development and marketing teams to develop achievable system test.

* Estimate, plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

* Track project milestones and deliverables; deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

* Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members, liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team and wider SW project team.

* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

* Provide input and enhance the current test strategy, test specification development and execution techniques.

* Work with quality engineers to isolate root cause of defects, investigate process improvement to reduce likelihood of re-occurrence.

* Minimum qualification of BSc/BEng in Computer/Communication/Network Engineering or related subject; significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

* 5 or more years' experience of managing software development or software testing projects (ideally using Agile techniques) with a qualification in PM such as PMP, certified Scrum Master or Prince 2.
