Project Manager/Scrum Master

Our client, an established and respected player in the financial sector, is looking for an IT project manager for their office in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate will report to the IT Director and will have responsibility for:

- the management and delivery of all assigned client projects within the IT Team;
- the company's standard project management procedures are implemented correctly within the IT Team;
- ensuring that accurate records are maintained of all client communications and project assets within the IT Team;
- provide risk and issue management;
- conduct regular reviews with clients;
- liaising between the team, stakeholders and clients

Personal and professional requirements and experience needed:

- consistent track record of delivering large/scale projects against tight deadlines;
- a background and passion in web/based software production and infrastructure;
- experience in Agile project methodologies;
- experience in managing Agile projects against Upstream Waterfall programmes;
- working and delivering software into secure environments;
- experience and involvement in commercial negotiations; and
- strong internal stakeholder management skills.

Seeking a professional contractor, my client's office is in the city-centre of Edinburgh and has excellent rail links from the Central Belt and beyond. The assignment will last for 6 months.
