Overview:
Location: proximity to proximity to Hoofddorp, Netherlands
Duration: 5 months initial contract
Languages: English (main), Dutch and French (secondary - non-mandatory)
Rate: Competitive market rate(Euros)/hour
Key objective: Supporting one or more Scrum Masters (SM), Product Owners (PO) and their Agile Teams in their Agile development in order to create highly effective and innovative teams
Key skills:
- Experience in workshop facilitation
- Experienced in using tools like Confluence, Jira or others
- Basic knowledge of Lean
- Knowledge of/experience with Scrum and Kanban for software development
- Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner (scrum.org or scrumalliance.org; Certification)
- Certified SAFe Agilist (or take course and certification within 2 months, paid by provider)
- At least 1 year experience as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner for external coaches:
* At least 1 year experience as Agile coach
* Relevant experience within Information Management/IT Development (eg Developer, Project Manager, etc)
* Experience as Trainer
* Experience as SAFe RTE
* Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4)
* Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt, or Green Belt, or Black Belt)
* Specific coach training
* Coach experience in large international organizations
* Coach experience with offshore and/or distributed teams
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Coach PO's and SM's and their teams to become autonomous, customer focused and continuously learning
- Prepare and guide SM's, PO's and their teams in the agile transformation
- Evaluate and act on progress of team improvement
- Determine approach to develop individuals & teams
- Provide SM's, PO's and their teams with feedback and means of improvement
- Coach SM's, PO's and their teams to work with Scrum or Kanban
- Coach SM's, PO's and their teams to apply SAFe framework (structure & rituals) where required
- Coach SM's, PO's and their team members to become mature enough in their tasks to move ahead autonomously
- Guide SM's & PO's to get rid of roadblocks themselves rather than to let it block the team
- Help SM's, PO's and their teams to improve on the real delivery (speed, quality)
- Support SM's, PO's and their teams to analyze and identify impediments and solve them where possible
- Provide hands-on support to team members to grow in their role specifically the SM's and PO's
- Ensure that you are informed on the change process and framework of the company and act and communicate accordingly
- Establish link with other SM's, PO's and their teams and establish cadence for events
- Coaching of SM's, PO's and their teams on "Can do" and 'Deliver" mentality
- Challenge/advise SM's and PO's on development of their skills & competences
