AFTERTREATMENT, ENGINEER, CALIBRATION, DIESEL, AUTOMOTIVE, RIG TESTING, RIG DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT

Duration: 3-6 months contract + possible extensions/opportunity to go permanent

Rate: £42 per hour all inclusive

Location: Middlesbrough

IDPP is actively recruiting for an Aftertreatment Engineer, to join an on-going project in Middlesbrough for a period of 3-6 months; offering challenging projects to work on, with the possibility to extend/go permanent after the initial contract duration.

THE SUCCESSFUL AFTERTREATMENT ENGINEER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

ENGINE AFTERTREATMENT DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION:

- Knowledge of diesel emissions AFTERTREATMENT technologies
- Experience and knowledge of engine AFTERTREATMENT, development and integration in automotive equipment
- Experience with application data collection
- Experience and knowledge of NVH and backpressure effects as related to engine and exhaust systems is required
- Knowledge and experience of Rig Testing and Rig design
- Good communication skills and ability to give clear and concise design guidelines to designers, system engineers and test technicians
- Knowledge of diesel exhaust fluid dosing systems desired
- Experience in project management with ability to manage DVP&R with cross-functional/multi-site involvement
