Aerodynamics Design Engineer

Purpose of the Role:
To design aerodynamic surfaces for CFD, Wind Tunnel and Race Car.

Principal Accountabilities:
Preparation of robust parametric surface models for CFD, wind tunnel and race car to tight deadlines under the direction of Aerodynamicists.
CAD definition of race car wetted surfaces to meet Vehicle Design and legality requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Capability:
Proven Catia V5 advanced surfacing capability essential
Formula 1 Aerodynamics surfacing capability preferred
Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering type discipline preferred.

High level of attention to detail
Self motivated, display a good level of initiative
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and team working skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
