Yoh has a six (6) month plus contract position for an Administrative Assistant - Logistics/Production Control to join our client, Applied Materials/Varian Semiconductor Equipment located in Gloucester, MA.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Our client Applied Materials/Varian Semiconductor Equipment is a leading manufacturer of ion implantation systems, powering the Internet, the PC, telecommunications and the information age. Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc. (VSEA) designs, manufactures, and services semiconductor processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits. They are dedicated to meeting the exacting demands of IC production and satisfying the ion implantation needs of IC manufacturers worldwide

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Pull Bill of Materials at the highest purchased level
- Copy data into template
- Sort parts to match Packing List
- Retrieve HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule), ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) and CoO (Country of Operation) through the Customs Point database.
- Determine Customs Value for the parts (apply a markup, the rate is sales price/material cost)
- Provide report within seven days after shipment
- Repetitive data entry

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word & Excel. (basic spreadsheet knowledge)
- SAP Knowledge
- General computer acumen is a must.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to handle repetitive tasks accurately.
- Looking for entry level logistics/production control person
- People Skills
- Multiple Systems knowledge
- Attention to detail

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- MS Access experience is a plus.
