THIS POSITION CURRENTLY REPORTS TO THE DC OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS, HOWEVER, WILL BE RELOCATING TO ROCKVILLE.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence and memorandums guided by general company practice and
- Establish and maintain departmental databases and develop spreadsheets of importance to department;
- Coordinate details of departmental meetings and/or on and off site conferences and events;
- Prepare materials in final form, manage business travel arrangements and screen/redirect calls, take messages, handle mail;
- Coordinate activities across departments and follow up to ensure that requests are carried out and process expense reports and payment of invoices;
- Interface with other assistants to share and coordinate workload, may cross train lower level assistants in the departments;
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience or Associates degree with two (2) years of experience.
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized.
- Able to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior FDA or pharmaceutical company experience.
- Experience working with Sharepoint
