Additive Manufacturing Technician/3D Metal-Printing (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Production of prototype parts (3D printed)
- Build, set up and using materialize magics
- Planning, implementation and reporting on process optimizations to improve safety, quality, process efficiency and minimize throughput times
- Management and data exchange between analysis/design and (external) additive manufacturing (incl. part manufacturability improvement recommendations)
- Attend transnational meetings, stakeholder meetings and internal workshops
- Creation and introduction of new assembly, production and test processes as part of the new development and change process
- Responsibility for creating and maintaining workflows, production parts lists, time-lines, etc.
- Quality control and quality assurance of all additive parts (internal and externally produced)
- Machine care (build preparation, cleaning, maintenance, etc.)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree in mechanical engineering, material science or related discipline
- Work experience in the area of additive manufacturing technologies and processes, as well as their specific application, possibilities and restrictions
- Strong knowledge in mechanical engineering/material science/industrial engineering
- Proficient use in additive manufacturing software (materials magics)
- A good understanding of aerospace
- Fluent English skills oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
- Willingness to work the occasional Saturday or early morning to keep the machine operational
- Self-independent, hands-on, communicative and a structured way of workingFgfg
