ACTIVE DIRECTORY SOLUTIONS ENGINEER NOVATO, CA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

TASKS TO INCLUDE:

- Designing, Planning and Implementing Sites and Subnets.
- Monitoring Active Directory Replication and tools used.
- Planning a Domain Controller and Global Catalog Strategy.
- Managing Trust Relationships.
- Designing, Planning and Implementing OUs.
- Monitoring backup and restoration of Active Directory.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of experience designing and managing a multi-site, multi-domain Active Directory infrastructure including expert-level knowledge of Group Policy Objects and their configuration
- Extensive experience designing, planning, Implementing and Administering 2008 R2 or 2012 Functional Forests
- Knowledge of Active Directory Schema
- Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Experience with Active Directory Sync (ADSync) or DirSync
- Experience with Microsoft Direct Access and Universal Access Gateways
- Exposure to Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- In-depth experience with design, planning and implementation of GPOs
- Tier 3 level troubleshooting of Group Policy
- Knowledge of Advanced Group Policy Management tool
- At least 1 current certification (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) with a focus on server infrastructure preferred
- Solid experience with design and implementation of advanced server infrastructure with skills in High Availability, Diagnostics, Capacity Management and Performance Tuning
- Advanced PowerShell Scripting techniques
- Operations will include 24x7 on-call systems support
