Active Directory Engineer (Remote Work)

We are seeking Active Directory Engineer for a 4 month contract Position in Alpharetta, GA (Can work remotely).

Need for a person to prepare and execute an Active Directory domain upgrade from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2. This is a mission-critical domain supporting most of business applications, so we need a professional with experience planning, testing, communicating, and executing this type of upgrade following Microsoft and industry best practices. This work can be done %100 remote or in our Atlanta area offices. Strong planning and communications skills required.

Plans, designs, and implements systems, including configurations; supporting/troubleshooting problems; coordinating with vendors for installation of hardware and software; project implementation; providing training and assisting with proposal writing. Responsible for project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons. May research and evaluate emerging technology.

- Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience: 8+ years' experience in the operations of specified systems
- Knowledge/Skills: Specialized knowledge of the planning, design, implementation and troubleshooting of specified systems
- Deliverable: Upgrade 15 domain controllers to 2008 R2 using MS best practices and in full coordination with 100+ stakeholders (mostly application owners and BU technical staff).
