Location: Gosport
Duration: 3 months - rolling
Acoustician required for a leading global defence company based in Gosport. To be responsible for technically leading the modelling of hydro acoustic problems using model tests in various facilities.
Experience & Knowledge
Must Have:
. Experience of noise and flow measurement techniques
. Experience of acoustic modelling techniques and Software (eg the boundary element methods Sysnoise or Vnoise)
. Knowledge of computational modelling techniques for fluid dynamics (eg Unsteady RANS computations)
. Good Knowledge and understanding of commercial and UK Military Marine Industry.
. Degree in an acoustics or fluid dynamics discipline.
