Projektbeschreibung
We are looking for audio engineers for the development of core speech processing blocks.
Our department has expertise in innovative multimedia solutions to help mobile device manufacturers, service providers and operators deliver vibrant, easy-to-enjoy multimedia experiences that truly stand out from the crowd.
We focus on Digital Signal Processing for Audio (speech and music) on Mobile devices. We deliver key software components, like acoustic echo cancellation, multi microphone noise suppression, 5.1 virtualization, etc.
Our engineering team is involved in research, in cooperation with universities; advanced development and product development; and supporting customers and regional teams with the integration of audio products in platforms or frameworks.
Key/Essential Areas of Responsibility
As a member of the Voice Core team, you are responsible for production of speech processing algorithms. This includes fixed point design, definition and execution of tests, documentation, code optimisation, etc. You will work in a scrum team with a scrum master and architect.
Personal skills/competences
- Thorough basic knowledge of signal processing theory
- Good Knowledge of audio and acoustics, mainly in the speech processing domain (echo cancellation, noise suppression, etc.)
- Good software architecture and development skills. (C for components and PERL for Scripting, Matlab for gorithm design and testing, sometimes assembly for optimization)
- Experience with developing fixed point implementation of algorithms.
- Knowledge of ARM cores and development tools (ARM9/11, Cortex A8,A9) (optional) Knowledge of other cores (Atom, QDSP, TeakLite, Tencillica etc.)
- (Optional) Knowledge of Mobile Operating systems (Android, Windows Mobile, etc.). Special focus to audio drivers. Experience with Android will be a real plus.
- (Optional) Knowledge of Mobile platforms (TI OMAP, Intel, LSI, STE, Qualcomm)
- Fluent in English.
- Creative and accurate working attitude.
- Open personality and good communication skills
- Eager to improve efficiency in way of working
- Able to work independently for different teams.
- Able to drive activities to closure, including proper communication in the organisation.
