Accounts Payable Manager

A global utilities company is seeking a talented Accounts Payable Manager to take responsibility for the management of their Accounts Payable process in various international locations.

This role will require you to direct the operational functions of your department. This will include invoice processing, travel and expense report audit and processing, financial disbursement and exception resolution.

You will lead the Accounts Payable team in various business critical activities, some of these are:  

- Managing employees and monitoring activity to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, expense reports and other related company expenditures.
- Ensure the accounting reports and accounts payable registers are prepared and reviewed with integrity and in a timely manner.

This role will involve liaising with all levels of seniority and various teams to coordinate and manage the company's clear strategic vision that has been thoughtfully devised by you. The successful candidate will also be required to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall finance strategy.

You will be qualified with strong accounts payable experience, ideally in a Shared Services environment. You should have demonstrated an ability to manage teams and perform under pressure with professionalism. As well as extensive knowledge of the AP process you must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships across a global Matrix.
