ACCOUNTING MANAGER - LIFE INSURANCE - BRISTOL

CONTRACT - BRISTOL - £400 - 3 MONTHS - LIFE INSURANCE EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

A unique opportunity has arisen in a rapidly expanding FTSE 100 life insurer in Bristol. The company has a strong record of continuous commercial expansion.

The accounting manager role in BRISTOL pays £400 a day and has a duration of 3 months. The successful candidate would join the Life Accounting team and manage the delivery of the quarterly and half yearly reporting. The role also focuses on producing analysis of regulatory returns, statutory accounts and group reporting packs. There will also be work around accounting process improvements. The position reports directly to senior management and offers possible contract extensions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Qualified Accountant (CA,ACA,CIMA,ACCA)
- Proven track record in Life insurance related financial accounting.
- Good Life insurance knowledge.
- Sound working knowledge of GLs.
- Experience of working in a highly regulated and controls-orientated environment.
- Experience of process improvement and delivery focuses environment.
- Understanding of product propositions and their profit profiles.
