Accounting Clerk

Performs daily accounting activities such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

*NEED STRONG FINANCE BACKGROUND ALONG WITH PO EXPERIENCE AND LEADERSHIP QUALITIES. MUST HAVE SAP ORACLE EXPERIENCE.

1. BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
a. Experience in Oracle preferred, SAP systems or Sales Force DotCom is a plus
b. Excellent team working and communication skills/Microsoft office domain
c. Understanding of the industrial sales process in general
d. Finance acumen Account receivables, Account Payable, orders, sales, contribution margin, operating plan, Invoicing.

2. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Coordinate with the ITO team to review customer orders and input them in the system, Oracle, and communicate to the OTR team when a job is created.
b. Team cross-functionally with Finance, customer service and manufacturing in process improvements to drive accurate invoicing and financial accounting.
c. Be responsible for assisting the ITO and OTR teams in order releases and customer documentation
d. Other activities could include but not be limited to:
i. Follow up with Application Engineering (Tech Reps, Field AE, Parts AE) to ensure timely delivery of scope and schedule for requests. Ensure Inspection reports are delivered in a timely manner to Commercial Operations.
ii. Keep ITO/OTR website updated with all PO's and Proposals. Ensure timely data uploads and storage of relevant documents. Coordinate data transfer between ITO, Shop, Field, Parts and
OTR.
3. Purchase Orders Processing
a. Manage order entry points to ensure all PO's are accounted for (any potential order entry fax machines). Ensure that the commercial manager is alerted to incoming PO's.
