Accountant - Project Accountant

ACCOUNTANT - BANKING - PROJECT MANAGEMENT - SAP - ORACLE - GENERAL LEDGER

A leading Retail Bank based in Bristol is seeking an ACCOUNTANT to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation.

The purpose of the role is to introduce automated Intercompany reconciliations and more granular ledger data to support addressing control issues raised by internal and external audit.

- Project management
- SAP GL granularity
- Nominal account utilisation
- Liaising with project SMEs and divisional intercompany SMEs to facilitate satisfactory completion of project deliverable including participation in testing phases and gaining testing sign off

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):

- Qualified Accountant
- Project management
- SAP, Oracle and GL granularity
- Nominal account utilisation

As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
