FOR OUR LIFE SCIENCE CLIENT IN SWITZERLAND, WE ARE SEEKING AN ACCOUNTANT

JOB TITLE: GA ACCOUNTANT

START DATE: ASAP

END DATE: 09/2017 (1 YEAR CONTRACT)

LOCATION: FRIBOURG, SWITZERLAND

LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

YOUR ROLE:

- Responsible for general ledger activities of our client which includes active participation in monthly closing and reporting activities for client.
- Besides month-end tasks this consists of mid-month activities and contribution to the Finance Initiatives agenda
- Provide high quality reporting with insightful financial information for key stakeholders
- Provide strong reporting/decision support for FRA Managers, Head of FRA within organisation
- Ensure high quality monthly reporting through contributing to processes such as Balance Sheet and P&L review
- Provide data and reports to external auditors required for group and statutory audits

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION (MINIMUM/DESIRABLE): University degree preferably in Finance, or business school or professional accounting qualification

EXPERIENCE:

- 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting department
- Work experience within an international context a plus
- Works well with tight deadlines and within a dynamic environment with multiple deliverables
- Ability to work in a complex, Matrix environment dealing with continuous change and occasionally conflicting priorities
- Good analytical and time management skills
- Excellent understanding of and ability with ERP systems (SAP, JDE), as well as relevant financial sub-systems
- Knowledge of financial principles, practicesalternative market rates are also welcome.
