Accountant (Order to Pay) wanted for our Fribourg based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting along with 3+ years' practical knowledge in Finance and Accounting with proven track record
- Working experience in project management as well as experience in big O2P projects is a serious asset
- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP and JDE as well as Microsoft Office package
- Profound understanding of accounting principles, financial accounting process and know-how in Legal (statutory) regulations
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, at least one additional language knowledge in German, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese
YOUR TASKS:
- Being the key point of contact for auditors and project team and acting as super users for SAP, BW, Showcase, Excel, JDE and on-boarding specialist
- Supporting follow-up, resolution activities, invoice processing and resolution of difficult invoice processing cases as well as working closely within the O2P processing stream and R2R accountants
- Executing month-end closing activities, month-end closing preparation like re-class of pre-paid and debit-credit re-class
- Performing SOX Compliance, RNV recon, investigation and resolution along with providing input to relevant SOPs and work instructions
- Participating in internal and external projects and initiatives as well as coaching other team members and onboard new joiners
