ACCOUNTANT needed for a CONTRACTopportunity with Yoh's client located in PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Accounting experience
- Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley
- SAP experience preferred

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with different areas within Finance, Operations, and Sales to understand the business and related accounting requirements for license, maintenance, and directories revenue.
- Prepare journal entries as related to credit invoices.
- Prepare journal entries, working papers, reconciliations, variance analysis, and other month-end deliverables on an accurate and timely basis.
- Review current processes, and identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in special projects related to revenue accounting.
- Review and understand SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements regarding deferred license, deferred maintenance, and deferred subscription revenue, and ensure systems and processes are compliant with business control policies and procedures.
- Utilize ERP and Business Intelligence tools to mine data and conduct analysis
- Will specifically focus on assisting with data entry into the revenue accounting module as well as assisting with close activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years experience in related accounting activities
- SAP preferred
- Understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley)
