ACCOUNTANT - REPORTING DEVELOPMENTS TEAM - BRISTOL

My client, a leading Financial Services Company, are recruiting for an Accountant to support the development of year end reporting and will be reporting into the Senior Accounting Change Manager on a rolling basis based in Bristol.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities centre on the development of year-end 2015 reporting, which is undergoing significant change as the result of a significant business transfers and changes to financing arrangements.

The role requires a qualified accountant with experience of implementing reporting change within a dynamic reporting environment.

THE ROLE WILL FOCUS ON:

- analyse of accounting records across multiple ledger systems;
- help design, build/develop, and test journals, including consolidation journals, to facilitate the production of an extended trial balance for company reporting;

The ideal candidate should be able to show previous reporting or finance operations experience. We also expect the candidate to be able to demonstrate strong excel (use of complex formulae, lookups, pivot tables etc).

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Qualified accountant
- Track record of academic success 2:1 (min) and strong A levels
- Inter-personal attributes re coaching experience
- Focus in CV on ledger solutions
- Experience in Finance,
- Experience levels that of a 2-5 year post qualification
