Accountant II Job

ACCOUNTANT II needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in HOLLY SPRINGS, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Three to five (3-5) years in similar accounting/finance role
- Prior experience with SAP strongly required, as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work with employees from multiple disciplines and location within the organization, displaying strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and display strong initiative
- Ability to pay strict attention to details

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support month close activities which may consist of creating journal entries, such as accruals and re classes, as well as running preliminary queries and reports
- Support the month-end management reporting
- Report/presentation generation and compiling the month end package with appropriate signatures
- Assist in development of work instructions for finance processes by testing instructions for accuracy
- Perform SAP cost accounting transactions such as new material creation, process order settlements, cycle count postings, and material audits
- SAP report generation and distribution
- Provide assistance to departments with SAP Accounts payable troubleshooting, determination of monthly accruals and SAP cost development for new items
- Carry out ad hoc reporting/analysis, eg assist in consolidating Excel templates received from multiple sources into single document
- Works closely with the Holly Spring's FRA Manager, Sr. Financial Analyst, Director of Finance and Global Tech Ops' Associate Director of Finance

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Three to five (3-5) years in similar accounting/finance role
