Projektbeschreibung
This is a role working within a Commercial Banking division, within financial reporting and control.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage month end daily balance sheet reporting process, to assist with governance framework.
- Provide assistance to areas of finance to understand make up of balances and assist in their local attestation processes.
- Assist in month end subjective balance reporting process, co-ordinating submissions, review and challenge reported balances.
- Review and comment on business movements, providing MI packs to head of finance.
- Develop and enhance controls where applicable, working towards greater visibility and more efficient processes.
- Assist in the monthly exposure by country of risk reporting process for the division, review and investigate material movements.
- Provide ad hoc support to reporting teams during year end in the preparation of notes to the accounts
- Build and manage relationships within the business to ensure that effective reconciliations and controls are in place.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels and departments within an organisation
- Ideally Banking experience and in particular Treasury knowledge.
- To have a good understanding of the following systems:
a. Business Objects
b. Oracle
c. SAP
