ACCOUNTANT - FINANCIAL CONTROL MANAGER - BANKING - ACCA CIMA - FCCA - EDINBURGH

We are keen to secure the services of an experienced accountant to focus on management reporting on a large divestment programme. This role sits within Financial Control and reports directly to the Head of Consolidation Reporting & Control. This is principally a BAU position and is to replace an individual who is leaving the organisation. However, due to the divestment programme the accuracy and attention to detail on the reporting (which will be going to both parties) will be under special scrutiny.

Core duties of the role
Focussed on reporting and the control element with a a number of different reporting views.
Month end delivery
Consolidating terms
Quarter end reporting
Process improvement (Identify areas for improvement as well as balancing with existing projects)
Develop reporting systems
Implementation for longer terms projects

The successful individual is expected to bring excellent stakeholder management skills, communication skills and be confident enough to challenge stakeholders.
In short we require a qualified accountant with recent and proven management reporting capabilities. A combination of a risk and control background would be ideal.
