Accountant - Financial Accounting

I am currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join a large client within the Financial/Insurance sector.

Your role will be to:

- Prepare financial information for inclusion in accounts and returns for Companies/Products
- Meet accounting, regulatory and statutory requirements in the preparation of financial information
- Create new model for the on-going forecasting of operational costs/resource profiles
- Develop business case for any identified opportunities
- Prepare written presentations

Key skills required:

- Experience of financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements
- Experience of MI and Report production
- Experience of cash and accounting monitoring
- Experience of data analysis
- Strong stakeholder management

Key Knowledge Required:

- Life and pensions products, markets and competitors
- Financial services regulatory and legislator frameworks
- Understanding of Principles and Code of Practice

You will hold a professional qualification (ie Accountant) with significant post qualification experience
