ACCOUNT HANDLER - UK INSURANCE MARKET - ACTURIS

An exciting opportunity has opened working within the Networks Wholesale Division of an international Insurance Broker. The role primarily services SME clients' needs on Motor Fleet, Property, CAR and Liability insurance. You will be servicing the Broker clients, supporting the London Placing team on client services and assisting in other areas as and when required.

As an Account Handler, your role will be to service an existing portfolio of renewal business including associated mid-term adjustments and supporting the London Placing team with New Business administration.

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with Clients at all stages of the process to maximise service levels and business retention.
- Provide renewal documentation and amendments to cover ensuring that the appropriate systems are updated and maintained and that clients are best advised.
- Produce Market Reform Contracts, cover summaries and policy documentation.
- Service existing transactional business directly with clients or in association with the London Placing Team.
- Liaise with Clients, Associates, Insurers and others where appropriate to respond to client queries.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures and external compliance regulations
- Any other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- As an experienced Account Handler, you will have a good understanding of the UK SME Insurance Market and Motor Fleet/Property/CAR/Liability insurance product experience.
- Good written and oral communication skills are essential as is excellent computer literacy.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills will be required to negotiate the retention of business and deal with mid-term alterations.
- Progression towards ACII or CII Diploma is desirable.
- Experience of working with Acturis as a broking platform would also be desirable.
