ACCOUNT DIRECTOR - MEDICAL COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY

My Client, a world leading global communications agency, has an exciting career opportunity as an Account Director to play a key role within the Medical Communications team! The ideal candidate for this role can either be based inParsippany,NJ or Research Triangle Park,NCand would report into an Associate Director.

The Account Director will be the key client lead for at least two agency of record accounts and be responsible for the strategic planning, budget oversight, and team leadership. The key to this position is creating strong relationships to promote organic growth. The Account Director will have strong communication skills often liaising globally with clients and team members.

Qualifications:

- Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Communications Agency experience
- Proven experience organizing international symposia, educational programs for physicians and patients, producing clinical trial investigator support materials, and developing print/digital materials ranging from sales aids to peer reviewed publications
- Thorough understand of the clinical drug development pipeline leading into commercialization experience (preferred)
- Financial Project Management
- Pharmaceutical strategic marketing programs and seeing through the execution of tactics
- Strong mix between traditional and digital platforms
- Scientific Background (preferred)
