ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT - GLASGOW - 3 MONTHS - £350PD

Our GLASGOW based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ACCOMMODATIONS CONSULTANT for an INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a full appraisal of current accommodation and options for any required additional accommodation to meet business needs in the immediate term and post 2017 following the completion of a transformation programme currently underway.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS - ACCOMMODATION CONSULTANT/SURVEYOR

- Leading the development, planning and implementation of strategies for Accommodation requirements to ensure they provide value for money.
- Develop optimum strategies for specific goods and/or services (in a Property context), with contracts awarded on the basis of best economic value for money for the public purse.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

- Ability to listen, understand and develop relationships with the stakeholder environment.

SELF-MANAGEMENT

- Ability to plan, control projects and programme management projects from business case development through to benefits realisation.
- Clear understanding of work objectives and priorities. You will develop and implement innovative strategies.

PROJECT AND PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT

- Use project management tools and techniques as promoted by the organisation. Good oral and communication skills.

ANALYSIS AND USE OF EVIDENCE

- You must organise and collate robust information from a variety of sources to support decision making in the procurement section. You will use evidence gained to assess measure and evaluate projects, engaging with colleagues at appropriate stages of the project.
