SAP ABAP Consultant - Brussels, Belgium - Project until 2021

Enterprise Partners is searching for a ABAP SAP FM Consultant for a long-term opportunity, expectation until 2021, in Brussels, Belgium.

Our client has an urgent requirement to fill this position and they are looking for an ABAP Developer with strong experience in SAP FM (SAP Funds Management), strong functional SAP knowledge, and the following skills and experience;

SAP ABAP Consultant requirements:

- Strong expertise in SAP ERP development (integration and test tools like ABAP, ABAP Objects, ABAP WorkBench, ABAP performance tuning, Dynpro, SQL Trace, RFC, iDoc/ALE, BAPI, SAP Workflow, testing with eCATT and within Solution Manager)
- Experience in the Public Service is a must
- Development experience with SAP FM (Funds Management), SAP FI is a must
- SOA expertise with the SAP SOA solution (SAP Composition Environment), SAP PI, and with Web Services development in SAP.
- Working autonomously on flow maintenance
- English and French

Note: When non-proprietary SAP technologies or standards are specified (eg Web Services), it is required that such technologies/standards be mastered within a SAP context (eg how to expose a given SAP functionality as a Web Service)

Your tasks will include:

- Analysis of functional requirements from the users
- Translating Functional requirements into Technical Specs. Technical Analysis, Design, Effort estimations
- Prototyping IT systems, modules, and components
- Programming IT software
- Unit testing and integration testing, validation of solutions.
- Drafting (technical and functional) documentation including documentation for the support team.
- Assisting the support team user training
- Assisting with evaluation and testing of products delivered by external system suppliers to ensure compliance with the project specifications, and required methodology if any
- Troubleshooting, debugging, diagnosis, user support
- SAP customizing

Start date: May 2017

Duration: project until 2021 - initial contract until end 2017

Rate: depending on your experience

Location: Brussels, Belgium
