A/V Installation Technician

AV Installation Technician - Pocola, OK

Status: Freelance/Project Based to Start

Primary Function:
Install new audiovisual systems in spaces of various sizes and complexities, provide troubleshooting and system repairs on an as-needed basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of AV systems
- Hang/install mounts and monitors, speakers, speaker clusters and video walls
- Document quality standards, system anomalies and project work
- Work closely with small teams of installers comply with company standards for maximum efficiency

Requirements
• Ability to read and understand CAD schematics
• Strong soldering skills, audio and video cable fabrication, cable pulling
• Rack termination skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential
• Must be a self-starter and a team player
• A strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution is critical
• Other job related responsibilities will be added as needed
• Must be willing to undergo background check
Physical Demands
• The duties of this position require the ability to bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders and to stand for long periods of time
• Candidate must be capable of working at heights and have good balance
• Candidate may be required to lift heavy equipment up to 75 pounds
• Adverse conditions may include noise and dust

Education will also consider Technical school training with electronics/installation training and related experience 
• 3-7 years’ experience with installations of various sizes
• CTS certification, Power Limited license or lift experience all a plus
