A&E Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION One of the UK's leading emergency departments located in Scotland has a current requirement for an Emergency Consultant to join their ambitious and dedicated team. The successful applicant will join the department on a full time basis where they will contribute to all aspects of the consultants duties including the teaching and development of junior staff. Whilst in post this role will offer a full time rota including 1:5 oncalls with additional opportunities available to increase the average working hours if desired, the consultant team work in a very interdependent manner allowing flexibility within the rota for previously made commitments. This department offers 24 hour care to the local community for both Minor and Major emergencies and would see an average of 60,000 patients per year.
