A+ Desktop Support Technician

FOR THIS POSITION, WITH A WORLD-RENOWNED COMPUTER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, YOU WILL BE PERFORMING A WIDE VARIETY OF DESKTOP SUPPORT ACTIVITIES. Your responsibilities will include Windows desktop troubleshooting, hardware and software support, installations; user administration, documentation, application configuration, and general network administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3-5 years of desktop experience supporting hardware and software, system administration and backup
- 2-3 years of direct customer interaction and support
- A+ REQUIRED, MSCE preferred, Dell/HP/MCP/other a plus
- Solid desktop support and troubleshooting skills, including hands-on experience with a variety of hardware platforms running Windows Operating systems
- Experience with remote access, VPN, and backup/recovery
- Experience with Linux strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask with no loss of performance
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Must be able to pass 10 year criminal background check and drug screen
