A Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - Older Adults, Hampshire

Our client in Hampshire has locum a job vacancy for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an older adults community mental health team. This job vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 24.56 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, service users, families, carers, statutory and voluntary organisations, occupational therapy colleague, day centres and residential and nursing homes
- Providing the client with clear advice and information on prescribed medication
- Working alongside the care coordinator in assessment the needs and strengths of clients
- Organising and participating in the admission, discharge and transfer of clients in accordance with the trust policies
- Supervising and monitoring the therapeutic effects and side effects of prescribed medication

Requirements:
All applicants must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid, up-to-date NMC pin. At least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within mental health would be advantageous.
