- Troubleshooting of 2G/3G ZTE RAN resources and services.
- ZTE 2G/3G Resource Administration & Configuration.
- ZTE 2G/3G Service Administration & Configuration.
- ZTE 2G/3G Emergency Handling.

5 Competence Elements

The following competence elements are required for ZTE RAN Consultant functional role:

- Strong knowledge in ZTE 2G and 3G RAN products software and hardware architectures especially in the below ZTE RAN products:

BSC ZXG10, RNC ZXWR, ZXSDR Cabinets BS8700, BS8800 GU360, BS8900 GU360, BS8900A, BS8906 and BS8200.
- Strong knowledge in using ZTE NetNumen and OMCR.
- BSC and BTS upgrades and patches loading.
- Very Good understanding of 2G and 3G RAN Radio and C7 signalling configuration and troubleshooting.
- Very Good understanding of 2G and 3G RAN system and RF KPIs problems troubleshooting.
- Very good understanding of ZTE BSC/RNC performance counters descriptions.
- Very good understanding of ZTE 2G/3G RF network performance KPIs calculations.
- Knowledge of Gb/IP, Abis/IP and A/IP configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of IuCS, IuPS, Iub and Iur over IP configuration and troubleshooting.
- Very good knowledge and skills of BSC and 2G BTS hardware and capacity expansions.
- Very good knowledge and skills of RNC and 3G BTS hardware expansions.
- Knowledge of BSC CS/PS migration.
- RNC CS/PS migration.
- Knowledge of 2G BTS re-homing.
- Knowledge of 3G BTS re-homing.
