We are currently recruiting enthusiastic 2 Zonal Team Leaders to join our team on our cycle hire scheme contract. The main purpose of the role is to lead and manage a team of Mobile Operatives in their duties of triage and basic repair work of all on-street assets and additionally, carrying out work that requires a higher level of maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

- Responsible for leading an on-street Mobile Operative team in undertaking their duties on bicycles, docking stations and docking points, ensuring a professional approach is delivered at all times.
- Overall upkeep of the bicycle network maintenance facilities; including bicycle, docks and pay station workstations. Additionally, ensuring team all complete all paperwork as required, in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
- Provide effective supervision and people management to the team by ensuring that all Key Performance and Development Targets are met via performance monitoring, providing constructive feedback, undertaking regular appraisals/performance management activities
- Responsible for providing timely on-street support to Mobile Operatives in relation to provision of tools and spares.
- Responsible for responding to questions and/or concerns from members of the public, our Clients or Sponsors as appropriate and in accordance with in-force policies and procedures relating to communications. Escalation and referral to be made to the Marketing and Communications Manager or Senior Zonal Supervisor as required and appropriate.
- Act as a Role Model to the team, demonstrating exemplary behaviour and leadership skills to gain trust and respect

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential:

- Strong supervisory management and organisational skills;
- Competent to deliver all aspects of the on-street triage and maintenance work;
- Will need to be fully trained in manufacturer specifications to assemble, maintain, clean and repair all docking points and terminals - training compliant to EU Regulations for components;
- Working knowledge of the KPIs and other performance metrics and measurement mechanisms relevant to the on-street operations within the Cycle Hire Contract;
- Must be willing to be fully trained in delivering training courses and present these courses to staff, linked to -train the trainer" and other appropriate mechanisms for job specific training;
- Act as a Role Model for the Scheme, the Client, and Sponsor;
- Working knowledge of Serco - people, policies and procedures.
- Must be fully conversant with the CLICK Asset Management System.

Desirable:

- NVQ in Cycle Maintenance or City
- NVQ A1 Assessor;
