Youth Offending Service Officer - Croydon

Our client has a job vacancy for a Youth Offending Service Officer to work in Croydon. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £22 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties
- Undertaking effective and thorough assessments of need and risk.
- Participating in the development of interventions in order to reduce offending behaviour.
- Ensuring records are accurate and up to date using the YOIS information system.
- Developing constructive relationships and communicate with others.
- Contributing to all appropriate training, supervision and team meetings.

Requirements
All applicants must also have at least 2 years recent experience of direct work with young people and their families involved in the Criminal Justice system. Applicants must have experience of working in a multi-cultural context. You must also have relevant experience of working directly with young people and their families involved in the Criminal Justice system. You must have experience of working with young people and their families and/or experience of working with offenders.
