Yocto/Bitbake Specialist

Proteus Europe is searching for a Yocto/Bitbake Specialist for a short 4 week remote contract.

By providing unique data from any point on Earth, every hour,they offer a competitive advantage for organizations that require insight into areas such as global trade, weather, shipping and supply chain, illegal fishing, and maritime domain awareness.

Your New role:-

Working remotely with another software developer based in Japan, you will be responsible for creating software solutions that are mission critical and/or safety of life Embedded systems.
The solutions will developed in Yocto Project and Bitbake. The developer needs to have experience working in Embedded Linux and ideally have worked in Bash and Python Scripting.

The client expects the role to take around four weeks to complete, you will need to be able to commit fully to this project for the entire duration. The role is 100% remote.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
Experience with Yocto Project/Bitbake
Embedded Linux experience

Desirable Skills:-
Worked on mission-critical and/or safety-of-life Embedded systems
Extensive bash and Python Scripting knowledge
