Year 6 Teacher

Simply Education are working with a Corby school who seek a Key Stage 2 teacher to work with their Year 6 class on a full time basis, for a 1 year supply contract.

Based within a rural location, this is a small school with a dedicated and motivated teaching staff and management team. A temporary leaders post would also be available to the right candidate. The chosen teacher will be practised in creating a classroom environment which inspires, challenges and progresses pupils whilst offering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.

The role is suitable for a Primary Teacher with either NQT or QTS status along with experience of Key Stage 2 (KS2) and the ability to deliver current National Curriculum requirements to a high standard. The teaching staff at the school are highly motivated and work as part of a close team. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills with pupils, colleagues and parents alike.

As the successful Year 6 Teacher you will need to;
- Posses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
