JOB SUMMARY:
Mana Education is helping an "Outstanding" school to recruit an experienced Year 6 Class Teacher Permanently from January 2014.

We are looking to recruit a suitable qualified and experienced practitioner for a Year 6 classes from January 2014 on a permanent contract.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING RELEVANT TO THE JOB
*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Has experience of the pressures and requirements of Year 6!
*Is an excellent classroom practitioner.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Be committed to the education of every child and be able to drive up standards.
*Be energetic, creative and positive.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Duties include,
*To play a significant role in the quality of provision for teaching and learning
*To develop Raising Achievement Plans
*To work alongside Faculty staff to support individuals transition from "needs improvement" to "good" or from "good" to "outstanding" - as directed by Head of faculty.
*Support QA protocols via review of schemes of work/book scrutiny to identify areas of development.
*Participate in learning walks across the faculty

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or similar qualifications, Teaching Experience in the UK of at least 6 months. Experience and Newly Qualified.
