Year 5 Teacher Luton

A small school in Luton are looking for a Year 5 teacher to join them after the Easter holidays. The job will be for every Monday, Wednesday and Friday up until the end of the academic year. All work will be prepared but the teacher will be expected to mark all work completed during their days in the school and to help out with student assessments alongside the regular class teacher who is returning to the school on a phased return.

Requirements:

As the successful Year 5 Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 5/Key Stage 2.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Possess the passion to teach Key Stage 2 children.
