Year 5 Teacher Houghton Regis

Simply Education are working closely with a school in Houghton Regis to appoint as Year 5 Teacher for a 0.4 contract starting in mid-September. The right candidate will need to be available every Tuesday and Wednesday but would not have any planning responsibilities.

This is a two form entry school with over 400 children on roll and each classroom has their own permanent Teaching Assistant. This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher that is looking for a certain amount of flexibility in their working week.

The Requirements:

As the successful Primary Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 5.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Possess the passion to teach Key Stage.
