Year 4 Teacher Luton

A small Primary School on the outskirts of Luton are looking to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a full-time position in January. The incumbent is relocating at Christmas and the school would like to have their replacement in place well in advance. Although the role would be full-time from January the school would like the right candidate to be available for various handover days and for the entirety of the last two weeks of school in December.

This would be a full teaching role. The right candidate would be responsible for all planning and preparing, parent's evenings and associated extra-curricular activities. The school employs a number of Teaching Assistants that would also be on hand to help in the classroom.

The right candidate would be joining a high-achieving school where expectations are high. Full support will be given from the SLT and if everything goes well up until July then there is a strong chance that the role will become permanent.

The Requirements:

As the successful Year 4 Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 4.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
